Ellington Mortgage Company is proud to announce the opening of a new location to better assist their customers. The main office in Thibodaux opened in May and with the influx of homebuyers in the River Region parishes, the company had to open a second location. Tommy Leffingwell, one of the owners, said, “We closed 15 loans in the month of July and have assisted about 100 customers since opening. We decided that the best place to open our second location would be in the area that used to be Ellington Plantation.”
The new office, located at 13322 Hwy 90, Suite O, in Boutte is now open to assist individuals with mortgage needs. Experienced loan officers can also be reached by phone at 785-4446.
The company has also launched a new website, www.ellingtonmc.com, which includes a number of interactive features. The site allows customers to submit loan applications online and also has free, easy-to-use calculators to assist customers in determining how much they can afford, how much they qualify for, and even compare the cost of renting vs. owning. “The expansion, along with the launch of our interactive website, has allowed us to provide even better service to our customers,” said Leffingwell.
