Dow St. Charles Operations recently raised over $34,000 for United Way of St. Charles at its sixth annual United Way Golf Tournament. The event was held at Willowdale Country Club on Sept. 10.

Golfers from Dow and the community joined together for a day full of golf, good food and friendly competition. The event included numerous prizes donated by sponsors and a special appearance by New Orleans Hornets’ cheerleaders, The Honeybees.

“It was thrilling and at the same time humbling to see the support from Dow and its employees for United Way of St. Charles,” said United Way of St. Charles Executive Director Denise Brodsky. Brodsky and other Untied Way staff members were on hand to offer words of encouragement and thanks to golfers as they arrived.
