A 51-year-old Destrehan man has been charged with aggravated incest after authorities say he sexually abused a family member during a seven-year period, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The man’s name is being withheld to protect the victim.
The alleged abuse occurred when the family member was 8 until turning 15, according to the report.
