Destrehan man arrested in connection with rapper’s murder

A Destrehan man has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of rapper Anthony “TC” Cole, who was found dead in November.

Jakorey Williams, 20, of 287 Meadows Drive, Destrehan was arrested Tuesday (May 1) in connection with the November shooting death of Cole, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Williams has been charged with second-degree murder and possession of a stolen firearm. As of Thursday, he was being held on $750,000 bond in Nelson Coleman Correctional Center in Killona.

Cole, 25, was found dead on Meadows Drive with a gunshot wound to the head. He was a graduate of Destrehan High School.
