As Tropical Storm Gordon made its way toward Louisiana on Labor Day weekend, Destrehan High School’s ROTC students went to East Bank Bridge park and filled bags for the elderly and disabled. They filled and loaded sandbags into vehicles for the community of St Charles Parish. This was organized by C/1Lt Dakota Fabre who wished to help out the elderly and disabled but ended up helping all who showed up.
