A 38-year-old Des Allemands woman was arrested and charged with the aggravated rape and molestation of a 12-year-old boy, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
According to authorities, Richelle Bergeron, of 17442 Old Spanish Trail, allegedly forced the boy to touch her inappropriately on two separate occasions.
The boy contacted a relative who in turn called the Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.
Bergeron was charged with aggravated rape and two counts of molestation of a juvenile.
She was arrested on Monday and held on a $74,000 bond.
