A Des Allemands man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile between the age of 10 to 14.
The man was arrested Dec. 27 and charged with aggravated rape, sexual battery, oral sexual battery, carnal knowledge of a juvenile, molestation of a juvenile under the age of 13 and crimes against nature of someone under the age of 14.
According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, juvenile detectives were informed by a parent that a young female family member of the suspect was molested.
Investigators learned the incidents spanned three years.
After a warrant was issued, the suspect turned himself in to be arrested.
The incidents allegedly took place in Des Allemands.
The name of the suspect was withheld to protect the identity of the victim. He is being held at Nelson Coleman Correctional Facility.
How is withholding the name of the suspect protecting the victim? Why even have this report made public? Does that mean that every male in Des Allemands should be suspected of being the rapist? Seems to me that his name should be revealed in order for parents to know if their children would have had contact with him.
Transfer him to Angola and sentence him to be incarcerated there for the rest of his life. There is no cure for what’s wrong with him.
