The St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center is monitoring a severed gas line at the intersection of Highway 90 and Coronado Drive near the El Paso Restaurant and where a new Goodwill store is under construction in Luling.Coronado Drive has been closed as a precaution while the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office, Luling Volunteer Fire Department and Atmos Energy respond.
Residents are asked to monitor local media for more information as it becomes available. There are no off site impacts, and the public is not advised to take any protective measures at this time.
