‘We’re extremely customer focused’
Chabill’s Tire and Auto Service’s opening in Boutte marks the 16th location of the fast-growing company, and prospective local customers can expect the best when it comes to service, said Vice President Beth Barron. “We have really honed our customer service model over the years to put our customers first and foremost,” Barron said. “We’re extremely customer focused. We have very comfortable waiting areas, amenities for customers, free water and coffee, wireless internet … all of these things we know they want to have as they wait and that makes their experience a more comfortable one.”
Part of how Chabill’s emphasizes creating an A-plus customer experience is by holding training sessions with employees on how to best provide customer service, as well as through the benefits offered for customers who buy tires from the store.
These benefits, called the “Charley’s Dozen,” include free flat repairs and rotations for all vehicles in a customer’s household, free vehicle checks, free tire balancing for the life of the tires, and much more.
With the company’s move to St. Charles Parish comes an entire gamut of services provided; including alignments, oil changes, brake and front end repair. The store offers a wide selection of tires, including passenger tires, light truck and SUV tires, medium truck tires, OTR, industrial tires, and more. Those tires include those for mud, high performance, all-season, forklifts, lawn mowers and anything in between.
Chabill’s ASE-certified technicians offer oil changes, brake service, computerized alignments, scheduled maintenance, air conditioning and other valuable services.
And with those services comes a focus on speed.
“We want to get customers in and out as quickly as possible, so they can get on with their day,” Barron said. “There has been a lot of excitement surrounding our move.
“It’s a new challenge for us,” said Barron, whose father, Charley Gowland, founded Chabill’s in 1968. “We’re really excited and we think this will be a great move for us.”
Chabill’s Tire and Auto Service is a family owned, Louisiana business. The new Boutte store will open on Friday, Oct. 27 and is located at 13260 Hwy. 90., Boutte.
