Victim rendered unconscious by dispute

An explosive argument erupted between Norvel M. Revader, 23, and his girlfriend after it was discovered that their son had a case of poison ivy at 3:49 p.m. on June 25. During the altercation the subject allegedly started beating his girlfriend and later rendered her unconscious.

On that evening, after being punched by the subject, the victim attempted to escape to her trailer. Upon entering her trailer, Revader grabbed her by the leg and drug her down the steps of the trailer causing her to hit her head numerous times leaving her unconscious. When the victim regained consciousness, she tried to enter her parent’s residence at which time Revader resumed punching her.

After a brief struggle, the victim’s father attempted to stop Revader at which time the subject began to physically assault the victim’s father.

St. Charles Parish Deputies responded to the scene. Revader made eye contact with the officers and attempted to flee the scene. Officers pursued Revader and requested numerous times for him to get down on the ground to which he did not comply.

After a brief struggle, Revader was apprehended, arrested and charged with aggravated burglary by domestic, aggravated burglary, second degree battery, resisting an officer, flight from an officer and a St. Charles Sheriff’s Office attachment for failure to appear after being charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle. At the time of press, Revader was being held on a $25,500 bond.
