Ashton Manor Assisted Living & Memory Care in Luling isn’t only convenient and comfortable, but also an exciting, active place for seniors at all levels of the aging process.

The public is invited to a Fall Open House this Saturday (Oct. 27) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a “Cider and Cookie” Open House on Nov. 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. that will showcase the “Ashton Manor Experience” with the community’s many amenities and environment.

“We try to make sure that each resident is able to maintain a full life while living here,” said Executive Director Stephanie Maxwell. “We offer seniors the latest amenities and comforts that they would enjoy in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is fully trained, friendly and compassionate.”

Activities Director Trudy Lopez provides an active lifestyle with a full schedule of social, educational and entertaining activities, as well as a festive environment year round, at the state-of-the-art assisted living community. It’s part of the personalized care residents receive in addition to specialized memory care for people living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Lopez strives to create a family atmosphere. This native St. Charles Parish resident’s love for working with seniors has been reflected at Ashton Manor since its inception in 2012.

A holiday tree decorated year round, the latest being Halloween, with the kind of detail that reflects the seasons and comfortable living in this senior living community.

Additionally, Lopez livens things up with love and joy whether it’s dancing to “Blueberry Hill” or orchestrating a comedy fashion show.

Executive Director Stephanie Maxwell heads a competent team that includes Lopez, Deshinae Petetant, director of Health and Wellness, Samantha Dufrene, director of Community Relations and Karla Couvillion, adminstrative assistant along with so many loving care team members.

A structured program helps all residents maintain a high quality of life, as well as make new friends in the community.

Residents receive the kind of help they need when they need it while still maintaining independence.

The goal is to make sure every resident maintains a full life at Ashton Manor.

Several styles of units provide a size that fits all senior needs that include plenty of storage space and private bathrooms. The grounds are professionally maintained for the benefit of residents and guests.

“We offer services that celebrate the people we serve, helping them stay independent and making their own choices,” Maxwell said.

“Our commitment is reflected in the dedication of our staff offering a higher level of services and a better quality atmosphere to live in.

“Our business is about serving you, our resident. We look forward to having the opportunity to get to know you and serve you the best way we know how.”
