Arrest made in rash of business burglaries

After an extensive investigation, the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office believes it has found the man responsible for the burglaries of four businesses in St. Charles Parish during January and February, including Hartman’s True Value, a bar, a restaurant and a check cashing location.

The Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jarrod Frosch, 23, of Village Court in Marerro, and charged him with the burglaries.

Frosch has also been arrested for numerous other similar burglaries in Jefferson Parish.

Property stolen and damaged in the St. Charles Parish burglaries was in the thousands of dollars.

Sheriff’s Office investigators said that they believe from the beginning that the burlgaries were the work of a professional who was most likely not from the St. Charles Parish.

At Hartman’s especially, the Sheriff’s Office said that security equipment was completely disabled.

The case is still under investigation.
