A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the shooting of a juvenile in New Sarpy Monday night.
Anthony Taylor of New Sarpy was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and negligent injuring after a victim sustained a gunshot wound near East Easy Street Monday night.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition as of Tuesday afternoon.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, its investigation found information to indicate that Taylor was involved in an altercation with an acquaintance. During the altercation a firearm was discharged and a nearby juvenile was stuck, sustaining a gunshot wound.
The incident occurred approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday.
