Two men make off with money from Shell gas station
Destrehan was the scene of another robbery on Feb. 7, as two black males entered the Shell gas station and made off with money from the cash register.
A LaPlace woman was working at the store at 1:21 a.m. when the two men entered the building. The robbers, who had bandannas covering their faces, stood by the cash register and demanded money. One of the men had his hand under his shirt as if he were holding a gun.
The woman complied to the robber’s demands and the men fled the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation and anyone having information about the robbery is urged to contact the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-783-6807.
