Two St. Charles Parish students were recently named art winners for the month of May for River Parishes Hospital.
The students are Emma Vanacor, a student at R.J. Vial Elementary School, and Paetin Simon, a student at New Sarpy Elementary School.
Each student was awarded a blue ribbon, a $20 deposit certificate and other treats compliments of River Parishes Hospital and the Louisiana Federal Credit Union.
The Young At Art Program is a class project for schools in the River Parishes. It is a free community program, provided by River Parishes Hospital and the Louisiana Federal Credit Union. Classes are displayed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested teachers may call (985) 653-1644.
