YNG grand opening in Luling

St. Charles Parish Council members, Terrell D. Wilson, District I, and Councilwoman Mary K. Clulee, District II, celebrate the ribbon cutting ceremony of the grand opening of YNG Counseling & Consulting.

Wilson said St. Charles Parish is excited to welcome this new business contributing to Paul Maillard Corridor Revitalization efforts.

The ceremony was held May 30.

Located at 1350 Paul Maillard Road, YNG will provide mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in a safe, nurturing environment.

Heartfelt testimonies were shared during the ceremony by members of the community speaking of the positive impact YNG owner Yvonne Byrd Gaspard has had for the members of her community.

YNG is an addition to the efforts to the revitalization of Paul Maillard Road.

Work on the location began in December with a groudbreaking ceremony. Gaspard used local contractors on the project.

Wilson and Councilwoman Julia Fisher-Perrier, who both served on the Revitalization Committee under then Parish President V.J. St. Pierre’s administration, participated in developing a plan to revitalize the Paul Maillard corridor, also known as LA 52 from Highway 18 to the railroad track just past Tinney Street.
