Watson receives scholarship
Marilyn Richoux, pictured above, presents the Lester Burgett Memorial Scholarship Award to Kayla Watson on behalf of the Republican Women of St. Charles at the Destrehan High School Senior Awards Ceremony on May 1.
The award is given in memory of Les Burgett who devoted much of his life in service to community and his fellow man. It recognizes a graduating senior who has provided volunteer service and assistance to the community.
