Dance Unlimited of the River Parishes student Ma Coi Hollins, 10, recently won first overall top solo at Fire and Ice talent competition in Slidell.
She performed a tap routine choreographed by Duanne Cazalot.
Over 90 solo routines competed in the division comprised of ages 4-21 years.
Ma Coi also received the Amazing performance judges’ award.
She won a trophy and a $250 cash prize.
She is the daughter of Quo Vadis and Carnell Hollins of LaPlace.
Ma Coi is a fifth grade student at Ascension of Our Lord School.
