Valero St. Charles Refinery and its employees donated a combined $31,523 garnered from its 12th Annual Fishing Tournament. Valero donated the money to the United Way of St. John.
Over 320 people participated in the tournament, held Sep. 20 at the Bonnet Carre Spillway.
“I am please to say that this is the largest amount of money our tournament has ever raised for United Way,” said Committee Chair Steve Marse. “Everyone seemed to have a great time.”
