United Way welcomes new campaign director

The United Way of St. Charles is excited to announce Melissa Frederick as its new Campaign and Marketing Manager.

Frederick began work with the United Way of St. Charles on Feb. 6. In her new role, she is responsible for organizing the annual campaign and marketing efforts for the agency.

Frederick is a graduate of Destrehan High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Louisiana State University. She has more than seven years of experience in public relations, communication, and marketing.

“As a St. Charles Parish native, I am very excited to return home and have the opportunity to work with the United Way in its efforts to better our community,” Frederick said. “I look forward to working closely with our partners in continuing to improve lives throughout the parish.”

Frederick replaces Trista Brazan who is now the executive director of St. John United Way.
