That’s Entertainment!

The Community Chorus of the River Parishes performed “That’s Entertainment!” at the First United Methodist Church on May 16 and at the Bible Center Church in Luling on May 23. The chorus performed musical numbers like “Daddy Dang Bass” and “Standing on the Corner.”

Donna Oliver performed “Tell Me on a Sunday,” followed by Wally DesChamps and Gordon Lousteau with “What’ll I Do?”

Oliver and DesChamps teamed up for “You’re Just in Love.” And Lousteau went solo for “Man with a Banjo” and “When I’m 64.”

Kay Reeve, Ginny Riecke and Kathy Wolfe made a trio for “He,” followed by the ladies of the chorus singing “Sisters.”

The Donaldson Sisters – Jeri Landry, Doris Menezes and Joyce Donaldson sang “Green Cathedral” and Consider Yourself.”

Glen Deroche performed “When You Say Nothing At All.”

Jim Belvin graced the audience with “The Legend of Gung Ho” along with Deroche and Denise Landeche with “Lucky.”

“Climb Every Mountain” was also performed by Landeche.

“Get Right Church” was performed by Ecclesia – Kay and Tim Reeve, and Marlene and Jim Blevins.

April Ebling sang “If I Ain’t Got You,” followed by “Red River Valley” by the entire chorus.

Charlotte Fabre and Barbara Forshag performed a musical skit, “Mariah.”
