Those who would like to help put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas please can sponsor a Teddy Bear for $10.
By sponsoring a bear you will get to choose a name for your bear. All the bears will have a personal tag around their necks with a little poem and the name you have chosen. The Teddy Bears were inspired by Kyle Bergeron who spent many holidays in Children’s Hospital fighting cancer. One thing that Kyle asked before he passed away was to please not forget about the children.
This will be the 6th Christmas Kyle’s family will take Teddy Bears to Children’s Hospital. After Kyle’s death on Dec. 30, 2006 this is his family’s way of keeping his memory alive during the Christmas season.
Your bear will be delivered to Children’s Hospital Oncology floor in time for Christmas.
You can drop monetary donation off at First National Bank USA in Boutte or mail it to Vicki Bergeron. Make checks payable to Vicki Bergeron. The mailing address is 115 Warren St. Luling, LA 70070.
