It’s been a story of strength and determination for Sam Steib, 21, of Norco, who recently suffered a neck and spinal injury from a diving accident in Florida, as well as Team “SamStrong.” On Aug. 8, Steib’s family and friends held a benefit luncheon to help offset expenses due to Steib’s injury.
“We appreciate the love, prayers, support and everything that everyone has done. We are overwhelmed. Also, Sam is working very hard,” according to Steib’s family.
A Sam Steib Benefit Men’s Softball and Co-Ed Cabbage Ball Tournament will be held Oct. 15. To donate drinks, concession snacks, raffle prizes or a monetary donation, please contact Jessica at (504) 473-2643.
