“Eclipse” Reviewed by Raven Scott

Eclipse by Stephanie Mayer is third in the Twilight series that has become a national bestseller as well as a modern movie.

Although the plot of the book is about a love interest with a vampire, the story touches deeper themes. Eclipse is a story of conflicting relationships, love, friendship, and ultimately the lengths one will go to protect a loved one.

Eclipse continues along the plot line of New Moon.

The characters remain the same throughout all three books although some characters in Eclipse take on larger roles, such as Jacob.

His friendship with Bela escalates to the point where they are best friends, and she struggles whenever she tries to live without him.

I thoroughly enjoyed Eclipse. It was definitely the best story in the series, comprised of intense love, surprising action, and deep emotion. I would recommend this book to teens of all ages, even boys, who enjoy action and a good love story.
