St. Charles Parish 2013 Homecoming Kings and Queens

Homecoming royalty were recently named at both Hahnville and Destrehan high schools.

Hahnville High School

Queen Brenna Vial
Brenna Marie Vial of Luling is the daughter of Rhea and Timothy Vial. After graduation, Brenna plans to attend Louisiana State University. She serves as a Kick-Off Mentor, vice president of the Beta Club, editor of yearbook, president of the National Art Honor Society and an officer of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Brenna is also a member of Interact, the National Honor Society and the Green Club. She was awarded magna cum laude, the Dow Award of Scholastic Achievement and was recognized as the Outstanding Catholic Youth of the Year.

King Justin Bailey
Justin Anthony Bailey of Killona is the son of Denise Darensbourg and Lennard   Bailey. After graduation, Justin plans to attend Louisiana State University to major in pre-dentistry. He is a member of the football team and the track and field team. Justin was awarded cum laude.

Destrehan High School

Queen Courtney Parker
Courtney Parker is the daughter of Leslea and Craig Parker of Destrehan. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in science, physician’s assistant. Courtney’s time at DHS has included two years of Student Council, Senior Class Vice-President 2013-14, four years of Talented Art, two years as a Kick-Off Mentor, Kick-Off Council 2013-14, three years of powderpuff, one year of Mu Alpha Theta, LYS Delegate 2013, four years of Advanced Studies Program and three years on the honor roll.

King Donavon Isom
Donovan Isom is the son of Denise Isom of Destrehan. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in communications.  Donovan’s time at DHS has included  one year of basketball, one year as Kick-Off Mentor, four years on the honor roll and four years of football of which he was captain in 2013-14, Herald-Guide Offensive Player of the Year in 2012-13 and Herald-Guide Player of the Week multiple times from 2012-14.
