St. Charles Borromeo Missoula Wizard of Oz performance

Fifty-eight students at St. Charles Borromeo School along with the Missoula Childrens’ Theatre recently presented the musical adaptation of the classic tale of The Wizard of Oz.

The local performances were presented in part with financing from a grant presented by Monsanto and River Region Arts & Humanities Council along with the Montana Arts Council.

Eighth graders, Mallory Wolfe as Dorothy; Gracie Johnson as Toto; Maddie Cochran as the Cowardly Lion; Lacy Pucheu as the Tin Man with Missoula actor/director Dan Watson as the Scarecrow included sixth grader, Grace Galey as the Wicked Witch. Other cast members were Alli Zoglio, Glinda the Witch; Jacob Schweitzer, Oz; Drew Duncan, the Green Guard; Margaret Bordelon, Mayor Munchkin; Noelle Kelley, Farmer Munchkin; Magicians: Kassidy Meredith, Molly Caluda, Sydney Twiner, Reagan Woulfe, Taylor DeGruy, Isabelle Chaisson, Hope Tobin, Maria Schexnaydre, Ayme Melancon, and Alli Perilloux; Munchkins: Jaime Bergeron, Katie Cannon, Sydney Poulos, Ashley Deshotel, Mary Harty, Elizabeth Engler, Chloe Nesbit, Halle Bourdonnay, Rachael Melancon, Sydney Pfister, and Casey St. Pierre; Winkies: Kyle Hartel, Kylie Casadaban, Michelle Smith, Abby Hudson, McKinsey McClain, Logan Meredith, Dakota Tregre, David Kelley, Megan Deshotel, Christopher Charles, Addison Danos, and Emily Giammolva; Fierce and Ferocious Flowers: Kathryn Engler, Ava Boudreaux, Brooklyn Seesion, Tiffanie Mayberry, Hayley Falgout, Anne Marie Howat, Lauren Snider, Lee-ah Heurtin, Sophia Greene, Taelor Bailey, Camille Couret, Ava Young, and Emily Twiner; Assistant Directors: Kolby Bourgeois and Jeremy Howat; Uncle Henry: Dan Watson; Director – James Scotland IV.
