The St. Charles Art Guild held its first meeting for the year at the St. Charles United Methodist Church in Destrehan.
They will continue to hold monthly meetings at that site on the first Tuesday of the month where those who would like to join can meet with current members.
At the meeting, artist Ann Clement and her first place painting entitled “Abstract Number One” won the artist of the month award for the month of September.
