Alexis Froeba, an eighth grade student at R.K. Smith Middle School in Luling, won 4th place at the state Science Fair for her project, Jacob’s Ladder.
Jacob’s Ladder is an experiment which tests how electricity works and responds to different materials.
Prior to winning at state, Alexis placed 1st at the school level, 3rd at the district level and 2nd at the regional level.
