Alex Miller, a junior at St. Charles Catholic High School in LaPlace, has been recognized as the Knights of Columbus Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest Archdiocese of New Orleans Champion and the Louisiana State Champion in the Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest.
Miller received a check from the Louisiana State Council Knights of Columbus for $200. His essay focused on Religious Freedom in America. Pictured with Miller is Mike Abbate, grand knight of the Ascension of Our Lord Knights of Columbus.
