Parkway Pipeline LLC, a joint venture between Kinder Morgan and Valero, delivered a $100,000 contribution to St. Charles Parish for repairs to the Spillway Guide Levee Road.
This contribution provided funding to resurface a portion of the Spillway Guide Levee Road used to access the public recreation areas including Wetland Watchers Park.
“We appreciate working with St. Charles Parish and President V.J. St. Pierre on our pipeline project and this community improvement,” Kinder Morgan Director of Public Affairs Allen Fore said.
“We are happy to count Kinder Morgan as a valued community partner interested in improving the quality of life and recreational access for St. Charles Parish citizens. Our parish provides not only economic and commercial resources, in the form of infrastructure like pipelines, but also natural resources for all to enjoy; and Kinder Morgan should be commended for giving back to communities that support their operations,” St. Charles Parish President V.J. St. Pierre said.
