Evelin Dugas of Norco (also known as MawMaw Red) celebrated her 100th birthday.
Dugas was born on Feb. 20, 1918 and a century later she is still celebrating with her family.
“I have been with her, will be 10 years this coming November, and to say the least, she has filled my life with so much joy,” said Peggy Guedry, Dugas’ daughter.
“She has a large family with grandkids and great grand kids,” Dugas said.
“She is a blessing to have around as to be around,” she said. “She loves her family as all moms, grandmoms and great grandmoms do. Sometimes we sit back and realize how lucky and blessed we are to still have her here with us to share our lives with.”
