Assistance for Single Parents is offering a Thanksgiving Camp from Nov. 24 to Nov. 26. The camp is free and open to single parents who are actively employed.
The camp will watch children from 7:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. on each of the days—additional after care and early care services are available for an additional fee.
Admission is limited to children of St. Charles Parish residents between the ages of 4 and 12.
The program is offered at reduced rates through donations, but parents must still apply and qualify in order to receive the rate. The deadline for the applications is Nov. 21.

Parents who do not meet the qualification are invited to submit a one-page explanation of their circumstances for review no later than Nov. 18.
