The owners of a new salon and day spa opening in Paradis are confident their luxurious facilities will attract customers. “We wanted St. Charles parish residents to have a special place for themselves,” says co-owner Charlotte Troxler.
Troxler and partner Stacey Melancon, top right, anticipate that Vous, their new upscale “dream salon,” will not only attract parish residents looking for a spa atmosphere, but will draw customers from surrounding parishes as well.
The partners chose a 5000 square foot stucco house on 5-½ acres fronting Highway 90 in Paradis as the site of their new salon.
They completely renovated the place and hired nationally acclaimed artist Matt Touchard, to use his magic touch to create a European-inspired spa experience.
Luxury doesn’t come cheap.
The final price tag of the project was $2 million.
But the end result is a day spa that is every bit as posh as those found in Las Vegas’ high-end hotels and casinos, and more appealing than several of the popular large day-spas in New Orleans.
And they didn’t scrimp on staff either.
The salon is fully equipped with 21 service providers and offers a complete range of performance-based salon and spa services.
A few of the services offered by the salon includes massages, pedicures and manicures, haircuts and styling, facials, make-up lessons, body waxing, facials and other body treaments.
Vous Salon and Spa is open for business now, and they are offering special prices as a part of their grand opening for Valentine’s Day.
