Luling United Methodist members volunteer at ARC

Luling United Methodist church members recently volunteered at the Arc of St. Charles’ Cajun Village Re-sale Store as part of the church’s second Saturday service initiative.

Through this initiative, which is part of the church’s mission of “living, loving, and leading for Jesus Christ,” church members are presented with volunteer opportunities on the second Saturday of each month and are encouraged to give of their time to support local organizations in St. Charles Parish.

The church picked the Arc of St. Charles due to its commitment to providing services that enable people of all ages with developmental and intellectual disabilities and special needs to attain their full potential.

Volunteers found there are several ways people can support the Cajun Village Re-sale Store such as donating items and helping sort and shelve items.
