Luling students help Santa decorate hospital Christmas tree

Pre-K and kindergarten students from Luling Elementary helped spread the holiday cheer by decorating the hospital’s holiday tree with handmade ornaments. The tree will remain up outside the Oyster’s Pearl throughout the holiday season and is a wonderful showcase of the students’ creativity.

After decorating the tree students were treated to warm baked holiday cookies and juice as well as a small gift. The smiles only got bigger when Santa himself showed up and visited with each child, taking a photo with each one as a keepsake. To wrap up the festivities Santa joined the students in singing carols.
