The Luling and Boutte Lions Club will hold a Spring Festival Pageant on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at R. J. Vial Elementary School in Paradis. Proceeds from this pageant will go directly to the Louisiana Lions Camp in Leesville, LA.
Divisions for the youth pageant are: Babies 0 to 7 months, 8 to 14 months, 15 to 23 months; Girls 2 to 3 years, 4 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, 9 to 11 years, 12 to 13 years.
Entry fee is $40 or you can sell sponsor tickets to cover the cost of your entry. To obtain sponsor tickets please call one of the Directors.
Also, by selling $150 in sponsor tickets and you will receive a free entry and be crowned one of the Lions Club “Hospitality Queens.”
You will receive a beautiful rhinestone crown and satin banner on stage. Entries for the youth pageant will be accepted at the door. Doors open at 9 a.m., registration from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. with youth pageant starting promptly at 10 a.m.
Divisions for the senior pageant are: Teen 14 to 17 years old, Miss 18 to 23 years old, and Ms. 23 and up – single, married, or divorced. Entry fees are Teen $50, Miss $70, and Ms. $60. Senior titles will be binding and the Miss Queen will go on to represent the LBLC at the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festival’s Queen of Queens Pageant in Baton Rouge in February of 2008.
Senior division orientation and rehearsal starts at 1 p.m., with Teen and Miss Interviews beginning at 2 p.m.. Doors open to the public at 4 p.m. with the pageant starting at 5 p.m.
