All students in Lisa Cain’s second grade class at Mimosa Park Elementary recently read the book “Honeybees”.
They also worked together to sequence how honey is made and presented a Powerpoint presentation to the rest of their classmates to share what they learned. All students had an opportunity to add to the discussion and ask questions. Madison Treichler, a student presented part of her literacy group’s presentation on honeybees.
Other presenters included Riley Hampton, Monica Harris, Kristen Gooden, and Joshua Cancienne.
After the presentation, the class enjoyed biscuits served with honey.
