Congratulations to Destrehan senior Kristen Kenney who was recently named St. Charles Parish’s S.T.A.R. Student of the Year.
The S.T.A.R. (Students Teaching And Reaching course is designed to encourage students to consider careers in education. She will compete against other S.T.A.R. students around the state that have also been chosen at their respective high schools for the title of Louisiana S.T.A.R.
Student of the Year at the S.T.A.R. conference in Natchitoches next month.
