J.B Martin students remember the Holocaust

Students in Stacy Neighbors and Heather Dey’s language arts classes at J.B. Martin presented student-written Holocaust children’s books and personal narratives in two publishing ceremonies, The Memories are the Past Relived to Learn for Our Future and The Hope in the Face of Despair.

Students had the option of either writing an expository research paper on a person associated with the Holocaust which would be then transformed into a children’s book or a personal narrative piece that honed in on one memory from our past that made a true impact on their lives.
