This week’s Humane Society showcase pet is Coco.
Coco is a 2-year-old male terrier mix.
“He is ready to follow you anywhere and a real ham for attention,” Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society, said.
In addition to Coco, the Humane Society says there are plenty of very playful pets at the shelter whose only wish is to have a home.
Throughout Aug. 31 all cat adoptions have been reduced to $40 due to an overflow of felines at the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter.
