This week’s Humane Society showcase pet is Brody.
Brody is a nine-week-old male Chiweenie (Chihauhau-Dachshund).
“He will remain small but has big ideas about having his own home and family,” Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society, said.
In addition to Brody, the Humane Society says there are plenty of very playful pets at the shelter whose only wish is to have a home.
Throughout Aug. 31 all cat adoptions have been reduced to $40 due to an overflow of felines at the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter.
