This week’s St. Charles Humane Society’s showcase pet is Nissan.
“Nissan is a male, orange tabby almost 4 months old. His name Nissan tells his story. An officer in our parish rescued him from an engine motor of a parked Nissan car. The officer called the kitty Nissan as he brought him to the shelter for safety. Nissan is sweeter than a Georgia peach, loves attention and is looking to bring joy to your life! He has his heart set on a home, being an engine mechanic wasn’t a good idea,” said Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society.
The shelter is at 921 Rue Cannes in Luling.
