Home economics instructor knows HOW to throw a party
THE PERFECT HOLIDAY PARTY. Robbie Tomeny, retired home economics teacher, was the guest speaker at the November meeting of the LaFlambeau Charter Chapter of American Business Women’s Association held at Bull’s Corner restaurant in LaPlace.
Tomeny spoke on how to set your holiday table and on the use of fine china.
She emphasized that the most important feature of a successful dinner party is making your guests feel welcome, whether using paper plates or the finest china.
