A Salute to Our Soldiers
Licenstein – United States Marine Corps
Private Patrick L. Lichenstein a 2005 graduate of Hahnville High School, of Des Allemands is currently assigned at Camp Geiger, North Carolina.
Lichenstein will return home for a short break before heading to Camp LeJeune, North Carolina where he will join other soldiers and await deployment for Iraq.
Lichenstein is a machine gunner for the United States Marine Corps.
Troxler – United States Marine Corps
Corporal Joey Troxler a 2003 graduate of Hahnville High School, of Ama is currently assigned at Camp LeJeune, in North Carolina.
Troxler is an employee of Wackenut, Waterford III in St. Charles Parish and serves as Luling Volunteer Firefighter.
Troxler will depart for Twenty-one PALMS in Calfornia where he will complete training exercises in preparation for deployment.
Troxler will leave for Iraq in October on a 10 month tour of duty assignment.
Escude – United States Airforce
Airman First Class Christopher Escude a 2005 graduate of Destrehan High School, of Norco, is currently assigned at Charleston Airforce Base, in South Carolina.
Escude is the grandson of Stanley A. Madere, war hero, and World War II veteran.
Escude was a participant in the R.O.T.C. program at Destrehan High School.
Escude will await orders to depart for Turkey in September.
