Hahnville High students building Bluebird houses

Hank Cologne’s Carpentry class at HHS partnered with the Bayer’s Luling site to help the Bluebird conservation effort by creating specially designed bird houses fit for the particular species of bird.

While on site installing the bird houses, the students were given the opportunity to see and explore the wildlife habitat that Bayer maintains with the help of the community.

Students were eager to do their part in helping preserve the Luling sites wildlife refuge even more so now that they were able to experience the habitat and being introduced to all the species there.

After forming this partnership, Bayer plans on completing more projects to help preserve species at its Luling site.
