Hahnville High School Air Force ROTC make donations to local charities

Air Force ROTC unit LA-933 based at Hahnville High School recently made generous donations to local charities. A whopping $4,950 was donated to the American Cancer Society through a fund raiser held during the entire school year, and $1,000 was donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Kyle Bergeron, a HHS student who lost his battle with cancer earlier last Christmas.

The cadets of LA-933 logged in over 9,000 service hours to the community and school activities throughout the 2006-07 school year culminating a year of hard work and dedication to giving back to the community.
