FREE college money for high school juniors with LOT of brains & talent

Are you interested in competing for thousands of dollars in cash and college-granted scholarships? Are you a high school girl?

Louisiana’s Junior Miss is looking to honor and reward the state’s outstanding young women for their accomplishments.

There is no entry fee and the event is open to any young woman graduating from high school in the spring of 2008.

Junior Miss emphasizes excellence in five categories of competition: scholastics, talent, interview, fitness and self-expression.

Louisiana’s Junior Miss program awards cash scholarships, as well as tuition scholarships, throughout the state.

Universities and colleges across the nation offer scholarships to young women who participate.

Louisiana’s Junior Miss is an official preliminary of America’s Junior Miss (AJM).

The young woman who is chosen as Louisiana’s Junior Miss will go on to compete at the AJM National Finals in Mobile, AL.

More than 700,000 young college-bound young women have competed in the program.

They include leading celebrities like Diane Sawyer, co-host of ABC’s “Good Morning America” and co-anchor of “Primetime Thursday;” Deborah Norville, host of “Inside Edition;” E.D. Hill, an anchor on Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends;” and Debra Messing, co-star of NBC’s “Will & Grace.”

The 50th Annual AJM National Finals will be held in Mobile, AL from June 28 through 30.
