FBC’s Bible school takes kids on ‘Journey Off the Map’

First Baptist Church in Luling recently held its annual Vacation Bible School under the direction of Rachel Mire with 180 students age K – 6th grade. Assisting Mire were about 90 workers with church youths and from area churches.

The 2015 theme was “Journey Off the Map,” which taught students the benefits of their journey in life with God. Children were individually instructed in worship, crafts, recreation, Bible study and missions, as well as morning snack times.

With an attendance of 200, Family Night was the culmination of a week of learning. Associate Pastor and Assistant VBS Director Dale Seal along with Mire and Assistant Director Kristen Seal  thanked volunteers and the children who made it rewarding by their genuine excitement and participation in each aspect of the week.
