The River Region Ballet will hold junior company and company auditions for the upcoming 2007-2008 season on Saturday, May 12 at Images Dance Studio, 105-A River Point Dr. in Destrehan.
Auditions for dancers ages 10 and older are at 10 a.m. Auditions for dancers ages 13 and up are at noon and female dancers will be expected to do part of the audition on point. Dancers should also bring a resume listing dance experience and past roles. Dancers are expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the audition.
The audition fee is $10 per dancer.
Dancers selected to dance in either junior company or company will be committing to perform in both The Nutcracker in December and the company’s spring concert in March. Other information and company policies and responsibilities can be found online at www.rrpa.org.
