Teachers spent the bus ride getting to know their bus buddy students better, as well as reviewing expectations with the students and reinforcing positive behavior and choices with the school’s currency, Gator Bucks.
LWE teachers rode the bus home with their Bus Buddy students on Oct. 14.
The bus ride proved to be a positive experience for all, as it helped strengthen the relationship and line of communication among bus drivers, teachers and students. Future Bus Buddy bus rides are planned for later in the school year.
